RuinsReimagined

Ruins Reimagined was a collaborative project between Xbox, National Trust, Assembly Media, Grian and BlockBuilders.

The project's goal was to bring the historic ruin of Corfe Castle to life in the popular game Minecraft and challenge players to reimagine what the ruin could look like.

We were responsible for building the intricate recreation of the castle and running the server for players to explore.

The project was a huge success, with around 2.4 million views on YouTube and a total playtime of 4 months, 16 days, 6 hours, 51 minutes, and 4 seconds.

The project received widespread attention and praise for its ability to make history accessible and interactive uniquely and engagingly and for the challenge it posed to players in terms of reimagining the ruin. We were thrilled to be a part of such a successful project and proud of its impact on players and history enthusiasts.
